Meat
- 2 links Italian Sausage
Produce
- 2 whole Orange Peppers
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 small Onion
Dairy & Eggs
- 50 grams Parmesan Cheese
Seasoning & Herbs
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
Pasta & Rice
- ½ cup Rice
Pantry
- ½ cup Tomato Sauce
Instructions
- Pre Heat oven to 375 °F
- In pot add water with some salt. Add rice and bring to a boil over high heat. Once boiling has been reach reduce heat and cook 12-14 minutes.½ Cup Rice – 1 Cup of Water1 Cup Rice – 2 Cups of Water1½ Cup Rice – 3 Cups of Water
- Wash PeppersPeel & Chop GarlicPeel & Chop Onion
- Squeeze the sausage out of the casing by pushing the meat out of the end.Place in medium high skillet.Break up meat with spoon and add Garlic and Onion.Cook till browned. About 6-8 minutes.
- Grate Cheese
- Slice Peppers length wise in half.Remove seeds and center.
- Once meat mixture is browned add the cooked rice, tomato sauce and Italian Seasoning.Stir together
- Take the meat/rice mixture and place into the peppers.Place peppers on baking sheet Place cheese over top and bake for 20 minutes.Enjoy!
